Azure HD Paint Remover/Stripper is a professional strength paint remover. This is a water-based paste formula. NO TOXIC FUMES. NO FLAMMABLE SOLVENTS. This will remove up to 30 coats of lead based, oil, latex and most other paints from wood, brick, stone plaster, marble, cast iron and fiberglass.
TEST AREA – Always ‘test patch’ each type of surface/coating to be removed before general use to determine compatibility, yield, proper thickness and dwell time needed.
Surface Preparation: Remove and loose or peeling paint prior to application. Mask/protect areas where stripping is not desired. Use plastic sheet and masking tape create an effective barrier.
Limitations: Will darken hardwoods. Not suitable for veneers, plywood, aluminium or composition surfaces.
Application:
Using a brush, roller or airless spray, apply approximately about 1 1/2mm – 3 ½ mm thick, according to number of layers and type of coating being removed. Dwell time: the time required for softening/lifting will vary average will be 3-24 hours. Remove softened/lifted paint using a scraper. Agitate surface residue with a stiff nylon brush. Rinse with power washer if possible. Neutralise after before resurfacing.
